Lepturichthys dolichopterus Dai, 1985

For taxonomic matters I basically follow ESCHMEYER (2006). I treat Balitoridae as valid family within the order Cypriniformes, deviating from YUE et al. (2000), who place the genus Lepturichthys in the subfamily Homalopterinae and in the family Homalopteridae. The specimens have been determined using YUE et al.
